Configure Node Alias Globally

Note
You cannot enable Node Alias on SPBM NNI ports.If you disable Node Alias globally, port level functionality is also disabled.

The steps in this procedure assume Node Alias is disabled globally as well as on ports.
Perform the following procedure to configure Node Alias.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Select Node Alias.
- Select the GlobalConfig/Info tab.
- Select GlobalEnable.
- In ClientsMaxNumberEntries, type the number of clients to be stored in the Node Alias client database on the switch.
- Optional: Select ClientsClearAll to clear all client information from the database.
- Select Apply.

Displays the total number of stored protocol entries for clients. |

Enables or disables Node Alias globally. |
